Danielle is a registered osteopath who has worked in private practice since 2012, and joined the team at Complete Healthcare Sunbury in 2014. Danielle loves working in the town that she grew up in because it is such a friendly community and enjoys seeing familiar faces.
As a healthcare practitioner, Danielle has a particular interest in empowering her patients to reach their functional goals. She uses a mixture of hands- on techniques such as stretching and joint mobilisation, and also works with you to incorporate exercise and movement into your management plan for better health outcomes. As a patient, you can expect lots of discussion about your aims from treatment and helping to improve your understanding of your body, and also lots of general chit chat.
Outside of the clinic, Danielle has lectured at RMIT since 2014 and has completed her PhD which evaluated the feasibility of adjunctive manual therapy for COPD in a hospital setting. She has extensive experience in accreditation of osteopathy programs in Australia and is a current Board Director for Australian Osteopathic Accreditation Council. In her spare time, Danielle tries to keep fit to be able to chase after two very active kids!
Jeremy first discovered osteopathy through his own personal experience of having been treated and managed by an osteopath from numerous sporting injuries. Jeremy believes in the osteopathy philosophy of holistic care, with using the appropriate management and assessments to find the cause of the problem rather than treating and managing patient symptoms. Jeremy uses a variety of treatment techniques and approaches to achieve optimal results to provide long term alleviation of pain.
Jeremy has an interest in sports, exercise training and rehabilitation. In 2015 he completed an internship in India for SportsMed Mumbai. During his internship he treated, managed and observed a wide range of patients, from upcoming athletes to elderly patients. He also observed leading orthopedic surgeons during consultations and operations.
Activities that Jeremy enjoys doing outside the clinic include, travelling, keeping active outdoors or in gym and playing basketball.
Dr Scott Lowerson is a registered Osteopath who completed a Bachelor of Health and Applied Science (Osteopathy) degree at the university of RMIT.
Scott’s passion for osteopathy initially sparked from his own personal experience during his adolescent years. Being treated in the past for many sporting injuries led him to pursue his own osteopathy career.
Scott completed his studies in 2019. Therefore, Scott has the most current and up to date knowledge/skills which he implements during his consultations.
As a healthcare practitioner, Scott has a holistic approach and a key focus to educate and empower his patients. This helps to set realistic goals and prevent further injury. Scott aims to assist his patients to recover quickly to allow them to go back to the activities they love.
Scott uses a vast range of treatment techniques to achieve optimal bodily function. Scott has also obtained his Level 1 Myofascial Dry Needling and uses this as a treatment method.
In his spare time Scott loves to keep active. He enjoys and participates in surfing, basketball and gym.
Dr Liam Berry is a registered Osteopath who completed a double Bachelors of Health and applied Science (Osteopathy) degree at RMIT university in 2020.
Liam’s interest in Osteopathy was derived from personal experiences and injuries throughout sporting commitments in his younger and current years.
Liam has completed a Myofascial dry needling course and uses a holistic approach to treating his patients as well as educating his patients in regards to the specific injury and tailoring treatment methods for each patient.
Liam has his clients wellbeing first and foremost, when he treats and encourages his patients to a healthy lifestyle, as he himself follows.
Liam is a local, who participates in local activites and supports his community.
Elie graduated from RMIT with a Bachelor of Health Science and a Bachelor of Applied Science (Osteopathy).
Elie enjoys treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions by choosing the correct treatment techniques for the patient. Elie has a special interest in sporting and gym injuries as he has sustained his fair share of injuries while doing various activities such as weight lifting, basketball, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, kickboxing, mixed martial arts and many more. He understands the difficulty of rehabilitation plans as he has had a full recovery after suffering a tear to a ligament in his knee. Elie has completed further studies in dry needling and cupping and loves to combine these with his proficient osteopathy skills.
Outside of the clinic, you will likely find Elie at the gym or at home cooking up a storm for himself and his wife.
Dr Andrew Kiploks is a registered Osteopath who completed a Bachelor of Health Science/Applied Science (Osteopathy) at RMIT university in 2021.
Andrew’s interest in Osteopathy developed a long time ago when he was a full-time athlete trying to manage his injuries, to be able to get back onto the court playing basketball. He has always had a passion for helping people improve their lives, which has led him to pursue the allied health field.
Andrew has also completed a certificate 3 + 4 in fitness, certificate 3 in relaxation massage, a diploma of remedial massage and level 1 & 2 in dry needling.
Andrew’s areas of interest in osteopathy include rehabilitation, pain management, education and empowering his patients.
In his spare time Andrew likes to stay fit by going to the gym, playing basketball, walking his dog and enjoying his social life with his friends and family.
Dr Jacob Caruana is a registered Osteopath who completed his double degree of Bachelor of Applied Science (Osteopath) and Bachelor of Health Science in 2023 at RMIT University. He has also completed the Level 1 Myofascial dry needling course.
Jacob’s interests in osteopathy stemmed from his various complex injuries caused from playing local footy and cricket as well as his love of weight training. The constant rehabilitation he undertook to get his body healthy helped broaden his love for finding out the ‘why’ and helping to prevent them from occurring again.
Jacob has always had a passion for helping people live their best life and return to the activities that make them happy. He is outgoing and loves a good yarn.
In his spare time, Jacob loves playing cricket, having a kick of the footy with mates and weight training with the goal of competing in Body building.
Daniela graduated with a Bachelor of Health Science/Bachelor of Applied Science (Osteopathy), from RMIT University. She has always been drawn to a career in health care, combining her love of human anatomy and the ability to care for others.
She prides herself on her warm and compassionate approach to patient care and strongly believes in the power of a holistic approach to treatment. This involves not only assessing the patient’s pain from a biomechanical perspective, but also exploring the patient’s habits, lifestyle, and overall well being.
Daniela also believes in empowering each of her patients during their recovery journey by making patient education a core part of treatment. This is important not only for preventative treatment but enables her patients to understand the reasons they are experiencing pain. She also forms individualised management plans to help patients achieve their health goals.
Daniela enjoys treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions such as headaches, bursitis, neck, back, elbow and hip pain and especially enjoys working with the elderly.
In addition to hands-on osteopathic techniques, Daniela utilises myofascial dry needling, cupping, and shockwave therapy, depending on the patient’s needs and goals.
Daniela is also extremely passionate about lifelong learning as she recognises that osteopathy is an ever-evolving practice. Daniela has been mentored by a wide range of osteopaths with a variety of different treatment approaches and spends time learning different techniques to apply in practice.
Outside of the clinic, Daniela enjoys trying new restaurants, going to the beach, and spending time with family and friends.
