The month of April is the premier’s Active April. It is dedicated to getting Victorian’s active and creating positive habits and lifestyle changes. We love high intensity workouts, where you don’t have to slug it out on the treadmill for hours on end. High intensity workout’s burn more fat, are fun and good to get your heart rate up quickly!
3km warm up on the treadmill/ or around an oval or the block (if at home)
10 squat jumps
10 reverse lunges
5 dips/5 tricep pushups
10 bicep curls (if at the gym)
40 second front plank
30 second side plank (each side)
40 toe touches
REPEAT 3 TIMES!!
Remember to stretch once you have completed your workout, drink plenty of water and lots of nutritious foods!
