Dr. Danielle Baxter

PhD (Complementary Medicine), Master of Osteopathy, Bachelor (Applied Science), Level One- Trigger Point Dry Needling

Danielle is a registered osteopath who has worked in private practice since 2012, and joined the team at Complete Healthcare Sunbury in 2014. Danielle loves working in the town that she grew up in because it is such a friendly community and enjoys seeing familiar faces.

As a healthcare practitioner, Danielle has a particular interest in empowering her patients to reach their functional goals. She uses a mixture of hands- on techniques such as stretching and joint mobilisation, and also works with you to incorporate exercise and movement into your management plan for better health outcomes. As a patient, you can expect lots of discussion about your aims from treatment and helping to improve your understanding of your body, and also lots of general chit chat.

Outside of the clinic, Danielle has lectured at RMIT since 2014 and has completed her PhD which evaluated the feasibility of adjunctive manual therapy for COPD in a hospital setting. She has extensive experience in accreditation of osteopathy programs in Australia and is a current Board Director for Australian Osteopathic Accreditation Council. In her spare time, Danielle tries to keep fit to be able to chase after two very active kids!
